The Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County, Inc. (CHPC), as the Collaborative Applicant and Lead Agency for the Pasco County Continuum of Care (CoC FL-519), is providing the following update regarding HUD’s reopened FY 2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO).
The FY 2026 NOFO was suspended on August 7, 2026, and subsequently reopened by HUD on September 18, 2026. HUD has established a new final submission deadline of Wednesday, September 30, 2026, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time.
The Pasco County CoC local competition was completed prior to the temporary suspension of the FY 2026 competition. Project Applications were reviewed, scored, and ranked through the established local competition process, and final funding recommendations were approved by the CoC.
Approved Project Applicants should review all feedback and requested corrections previously provided during the local review process and make the necessary revisions to their Project Applications in e-snaps.
Corrected Project Applications are due in e-snaps by 12:00 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, September 23, 2026. The CoC will review the corrected applications and communicate any additional required revisions. Final Project Applications are due in e-snaps by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 25, 2026.

Important: Due to HUD’s condensed reopening timeframe, all approved Project Applicants should carefully review the updated submission timeline below. The revised submission dates supersede the submission dates previously published for the FY 2026 competition.
The Pasco County CoC completed its local review, scoring, ranking, and approval process prior to the temporary suspension of the FY 2026 competition.
The approved FY 2026 Pasco County CoC Final Priority Listing identifies the projects accepted for inclusion in the CoC’s FY 2026 Consolidated Application, their final ranking and funding recommendations, as well as projects rejected or subject to reallocation.

The Coalition for the Homeless of Pasco County, Inc., as the Pasco County Continuum of Care’s (CoC) HUD Collaborative Applicant, is honored to release the HUD CoC Builds Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Local Competition material. This CoC Builds funding is intended to add new units of permanent supportive housing (PSH) for individuals and families experiencing homelessness through new construction, acquisition, or rehabilitation.
THIS NOFO SHOULD NOT BE CONFUSED WITH THE HUD COC COMPETITION NOFO THAT WAS JUST COMPLETED.
